Position: Open-Rank Tenure Track Faculty

Description:

The School of Computing and Information Sciences invites applications from exceptionally qualified faculty at all levels with particular emphasis on cyber-security, computer systems or data sciences. Ideal candidates for junior positions should have a record of exceptional research in their early careers and a demonstrated ability to pursue and lead a research program.  Candidates for senior positions must have an active and sustainable record of excellence in funded research, publications and professional service as well as demonstrated leadership in collaborative or interdisciplinary research. In addition to developing or expanding a high-quality research program, all successful applicants must be committed to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

 

 

School of Computing and Information Sciences

Position: Non-Tenure Track / Open Rank Faculty

Description:

The Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences seeks candidates for multiple non-tenure-track, open-rank, teaching faculty positions. Successful candidates are expected to teach a variety of courses offered by the School.  Those interested in teaching subjects such as programming languages, theory (especially linear structures and logic), digital forensics, blockchain, DevOps, and simulation/modeling are particularly encouraged to apply, though we welcome potential faculty for all of our courses. ,  A Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is required and a PhD degree is preferred. While this position is not a tenure-track position, it does have a promotion progression: teaching faculty with a terminal degree are eligible for consideration for promotion after five years.
