FIU’s College of Engineering & Computing (CEC) provides endless opportunities to its students, offering a complete range of fully accredited engineering bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs.

With approximately $32 million in research funding, CEC is at the forefront of conducting impactful research to make the world a better and more secure place. It’s breaking barriers by being the first in the nation to offer an Internet of Things degree. It’s obtaining 44 patents in one year, some awarded directly to our graduate students.

Ranked number one in bachelor’s degrees awarded to Hispanics and number six in bachelor’s degrees awarded to African-Americans by the American Society for Engineering Education*, the college is committed to diversity and inclusion. Preparing our students for the global workforce and to be exposed to different perspectives is what we strive for. Our graduates are obtaining jobs at top tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Intel.
