Finish Undergrad and Grad School in just Five Years
The Mechanical Engineering Accelerated Degree Pathway allows students to earn both a bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in five years instead of the typical six.
Enrolled students may count up to six credit hours of graduate coursework toward their undergraduate degree.
Requirements
This program is open to FIU students who are working toward one of the following undergraduate programs:
To apply for the accelerated degree pathway, students must have at least 75 credits, a GPA of 3.2 or higher in both overall and upper division courses and three letters of recommendation from faculty at the College of Engineering & Computing.
