Endowed Gifts

Endowed gifts help the college fund new ideas, support innovative research, attract top faculty and provide scholarships for talented students.

These gifts create a permanent connection between your generosity and the College’s mission.

Make an endowed gift

  • Eminent Scholars Chair

    An Eminent Scholars Chair honors internationally recognized leaders in their field. These scholars attract top faculty and strengthen research and academic programs.

    Endowment amount: $3 million

  • Endowed Chair

    Endowed Chairs support distinguished faculty who lead research and mentor future scholars.

    Endowment amount: $2 million

  • Distinguished Professorship

    These professorships recognize senior faculty with strong records in teaching and research.

    Endowment amount: $1 million

  • Named Professorship

    Named Professorships honor individuals while supporting excellence in teaching and research.

    Endowment amount: $600,000

  • Graduate Fellowships

    Graduate Fellowships help students reach the next level of excellence while attracting top graduate and postdoctoral talent.

    Endowment amount: $250,000

  • Undergraduate Scholarships & Student Support Funds

    Endowed scholarships and support funds create opportunities for students who may not otherwise afford an FIU education. These funds may also honor a family member, mentor or organization.

    Named Scholarship Fund: $50,000

    Named Student Support Fund: $25,000

  • The Fang Zhao Endowment

    The Fang Zhao Endowment honors Dr. Fang Zhao’s lasting impact on FIU and the field of civil and environmental engineering. The endowment supports student scholarships and lecture series in her name.

    You may give online or mail a check payable to FIU Foundation, noting Fang Zhao Endowment.

Corporate Giving
