It is with great Panther Pride that we wish to congratulate Arvind Agarwal, distinguished university professor and chair of the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, for being elevated to Fellow of The American Ceramic Society (ACerS).
Upon the recommendation of the Panel of Fellows, the ACerS Board of Directors unanimously approved Agarwal’s selection. The Fellow designation recognizes ACerS members who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the ceramic arts or sciences, broad and productive scholarship in ceramic science and technology, conspicuous achievement in ceramic industry, or by outstanding service to the Society.
Recognition of this achievement will be given at the ACerS Honors and Awards Banquet at the society’s 123rd annual meeting on Monday, October 18, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio.
