Finish Undergrad and Grad School in just Five Years

The Environmental Engineering Accelerated Degree Pathway allows students to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering in five years instead of the typical six.

Enrolled students may count up to nine credit hours of graduate coursework toward their undergraduate degree.

Requirements

This program is open to FIU students who have completed at least 75 credits and are pursuing one of the following undergraduate programs:

Students interested in the accelerated degree pathway must have a GPA of at least 3.3 in their last 60 credits of coursework and submit three letters of recommendation from faculty in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
