The human resources team partners closely with FIU’s Division of HR to deliver comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle. We work to ensure that CEC faculty and staff have the resources, guidance and processes needed to succeed in their roles and thrive within the college and university community.

Our Services
Full-Cycle Recruitment
We support hiring for faculty, staff, administrative and temporary positions. Services include position development, job postings, advertising, search and screening coordination and compensation review for selected finalists.
Onboarding Support
We guide new employees and their supervisors through every step of the onboarding process -pre-employment requirements, position-based and required trainings and ongoing support to ensure success.
Faculty Affairs
We manage faculty appointments, renewals, courtesy appointments, salary surveys and related administrative support.
Training & Professional Development
We track compliance training, develop learning materials, identify training resources and partner with internal units to expand professional development opportunities.
Employee Recognition & Engagement
We support recognition programs and events that strengthen workplace culture, celebrate achievements and promote employee retention.
Employee & Labor Relations Support
Working alongside FIU’s Employee and Labor Relations team, we assist with workplace concerns and provide guidance to ensure a fair and supportive environment.
