Major in Information Technology

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology helps you build the skills you need to succeed in a world shaped by technology and innovation. The program mixes hands-on learning with a strong technical foundation in areas like software and database development, cloud computing, application deployment and management.

You will learn from faculty and industry experts while building the problem-solving and technical skills needed to design, build and manage complex information systems.

Tracks & Classes

The BS in Information Technology has two tracks and an accelerated pathway.

Both tracks start with the same core classes in programming, human-computer interaction, operating systems, web development, cloud computing and more.

Capstone Courses

This program requires a junior and a senior capstone course.

In your junior year, you’ll learn how to collaborate and work efficiently as a team in an Agile environment.

As a senior, you’ll work on faculty-supervised projects in teams of up to five members to design and build solutions to real-world problems using the skills and experience obtained across your classes.
