Classes
In the Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program, you’ll build a strong base in science, mathematics, statistical methods, data structures and programming in Python, while exploring topics like:
- Ethics in AI
- Natural language processing
- Deep learning
- Data mining
- Robotics

Capstone Courses
This program requires a junior and a senior capstone course.
In your junior year, you’ll learn how to collaborate and work efficiently as a team in an Agile environment.
As a senior, you’ll work on faculty-supervised projects in teams of up to five members to design and implement solutions to real-world problems utilizing the skills and experience obtained across the spectrum of computer science courses.

The Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is broken up into three tracks. Please refer to the program flowchart for a summary of each track's course requirements.

Apply to FIU
Interested students are encouraged to apply to FIU as early as possible. Applicants must submit a high school diploma, SAT, ACT or CLT scores and transcripts from all schools attended.
