Master’s Project and Thesis Option

The MS in Logistics Engineering program consists of 30 credit hours from 3 core clusters of graduate courses in logistics operations, engineering and logistics systems and technology.

Students may receive permission to conduct a master’s project for up to 3 credit hours to replace an elective course. Students can alternatively receive permission to complete a master’s thesis for 6 credit hours to replace 2 elective courses.

    • 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, operations research, or business administration, from an accredited institution 
    • Submit the FIU Master’s Program Online Application, which will ask you to submit:
      • Official transcripts of all previously earned college or university credits
      • A statement or letter of intent
      • Three letters of recommendation
      • A statement of objectives
      • Resume or CV

  • STEM Designation

    The Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering is a STEM-designated program. After program completion, international students have the opportunity of Optional Practical Training (OPT), which allows students to work within the U.S. for up to 36 months (one year of OPT + two years of STEM OPT) for STEM designated programs.
