Virtual Walk-in Advising

Virtual walk-in advising is for general questions from current and prospective students. For specific concerns, like career planning, long-term enrollment, GPA or advising holds or dismissal appeals, schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor through the PSN on your MyFIU account.

To accommodate high demand, each virtual walk-in session is limited to 15 minutes. Admission to the Zoom room may close once capacity is reached. Virtual walk-ins are intended to address:

• Graduation checks
• Class permissions
• General questions about the University, College, program requirements, policies, and more
• Prospective student questions

Additional Information

• Before your walk-in, please make sure you have the latest version of Zoom installed on your computer or phone.
• Have access to a computer or laptop, as well as your MyFIU account and Panther Degree Audit.
• Choose a location that is quiet and suitable for your advising session.
