Yanzhao Wu

Biography

Yanzhao Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2022 and his bachelor’s degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2017. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning and computing systems, with a focus on machine learning system and algorithm co-design, large language models, generative AI, deep learning, big data analytics, and the trustworthiness of AI systems. His work has been published in top venues such as CVPR, ICSE, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE ICDM, IEEE TSC, ACM TOIS, and ACM Computing Surveys, and received the IEEE CIC 2021 Best Paper Award. He also serves as a reviewer for top conferences and journals, including ICLR, WWW, CVPR, ECCV, AAAI, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE TKDE, and ACM TOIT, and as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Big Data.
