Biography
With an Information Technology career spanning 25 years, Xavier Caddle has worked as a teaching professor, chief technology officer, software architect, and systems developer for clients including governments, universities, pharmacies and major financial institutions.
As a teaching professor, Xavier impacts the lives of young technologists and assists in skillset training required by the IT sector of tomorrow. In this role, he merges his experience in industry with the rigor of academics to marry both practical and theory, thereby providing a more realistic learning experience.
Xavier is a Fulbright Scholarship recipient who completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, and also holds an adjunct lecturer position in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
He has worked for approximately 19 years in the financial industry, and while not lecturing, lends his technical expertise to FinTech businesses to assist them in developing secure financial solutions. As chief technology officer of Whitenoise Inc., Xavier Caddle has led a team of professionals using a merger of AGILE and GAMP methodologies to implement software and technology rollouts for clients using Cloud Computing Infrastructure as well as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment practices.
