Biography
Priyanka Alluri is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Florida International University (FIU). She received her doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 2010. Her research focuses on transportation safety, traffic operations, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) technologies, and Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O). Dr. Alluri has served as the Principal Investigator for over $7M in research grants. Dr. Alluri has co-authored over 250 journal papers, conference proceedings, and research reports. Dr. Alluri has recently co-authored an Elsevier book on Connected and Automated Vehicles. Dr. Alluri serves as the Chair of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Transportation Safety Council.
