Biography
Mona Y. Elshinawy, Ph.D., is a faculty member at FIU with more than 15 years of experience in engineering and computing education, curriculum development, and applied research.
Elshinawy has led the development of foundational engineering courses and laboratories, designed Quality Matters-certified online courses, and contributed to curriculum and assessment initiatives supporting student success. She has served as an NSF panelist for the Improving Undergraduate STEM Education program and is the founder and general chair of the IEEE WERC Conference.
