Biography
Professor Mohammed Hadi, PE has more than 35 years of experience in transportation engineering (10 years in the private sector and the rest in academic and research institutions). His experience has been in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Connected and Automated Vehicles, Transportation System Management and Operations (TSMO), data analytics and decision support in transportation engineering, performance measurements, and multi-resolution transportation system simulation. His research has been funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, United State Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, National Academy of Science, Florida Departments of Transportation, and other transportation agencies. He graduated 23 Ph.D. students and was the co-chair of the Traffic Simulation Committee of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academy of Science and a member of three other TRB committees and multiple other national committees.
