Biography
Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman is an Associate Professor at the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KFSCIS) at Florida International University (FIU). He is also the Director of the Analytics for Cyber Defense (ACyD) Lab and the Associate Director of the Center for Integrated Security, Privacy, and Trustworthy (CIERTA). Prof. Rahman’s primary research interests encompass a diverse range of problems that integrate cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems, and artificial intelligence (AI). His research primarily focuses on attack-resiliency analysis, security hardening, and the design of resilient systems. His research is primarily funded by the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Defense. Prof. Rahman authored a book and several book chapters and has published over 175 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers. He served on various journal editorial boards and conference technical program committees (TPCs). In particular, Prof. Rahman is the Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and the IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management. He also served as the TPC Co-Chair of IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2023.
