Biography
Prof. Mo Sha is an Associate Professor in the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences at Florida International University. His research interests include wireless networking, Internet of Things, Cyber-Physical Systems, machine learning, and network security. He published papers at highly selective conferences, such as USENIX NSDI, IEEE INFOCOM, and IEEE ICNP, and in high-impact journals, such as IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. He served on the technical program committee of 24 premier research conferences and reviewed papers for 33 journals. He also serves as an associate editor of ACM Transactions on Cyber-Physical Systems and a guest editor of IEEE Network. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014, his NSF CRII award in 2017, and his NSF CAREER award in 2021. He is a senior and lifetime member of ACM, and a membership reviewer of Sigma Xi.
