Biography
Jannette Pérez Barbosa, PE, holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and is completing a doctorate in Systems Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU). She coordinates the joint FE and PE Industrial Engineering exams review at the College of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico (CIAPR). She was recognized as an Outstanding Faculty Advisor for the IISE Southeast US Region in 2021. She has experience in process optimization and improvement at companies such as Pfizer, Baxter, General Electric, Ideanovations, and Motorambar, achieving improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
