Biography
Professor Rodríguez-Simmonds investigated the efficiency of memory architectures in microprocessors as part of his graduate work, and then moved on to explore how our experiences and backgrounds affect the way we learn and practice engineering. More recently, his work studies knowledge structures and the narratives we use to understand our professional selves, how students relate to tools such as artificial intelligence in educational settings, and the ways interdisciplinary teams work together to solve real-world engineering challenges.
