Major in Biomedical Engineering
The Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering prepares students for the innovative intersection of clinical medicine and technological innovation. Our advanced curriculum leverages scientific understanding to instruct students on creating biomaterials, instruments, and devices.
You will learn through our in-depth curriculum the major biomedical engineering subareas, including tissue engineering, bio signals and systems, biomaterials and biomechanics. Preparing you for potential employment as physicians or researchers in private industries or federal agencies such as FDA, NIH, and USPTO.

Classes
In the Bachelor of Science of Biomedical Engineering, you’ll learn the fundamentals in designing technology specifically for use in clinical medical by exploring topics like:
- Molecular Engineering
- Immunology
- Genetics
- Analytical Chemistry

Senior Design Project
This program requires a Senior Design capstone project. During this two-semester course, you will be mentored by faculty and industry leaders as you undertake product design, implementation and budgeting to solve a real-world problem a team.
Concentrations
