Course Outcomes

Thesis and Non-thesis Options
The MS in Environmental Engineering supports a Thesis and Non-thesis options.
Thesis Option
The Thesis option requires a completed master’s thesis for 6 credits and 24 credit hours of coursework.
The master’s thesis must be presented to a Thesis Committee consisting of three members with Graduate Faculty Status. Once approved by the committee, the student will present a thesis defense in the form of a public lecture.
Non-thesis Option
The Non-thesis option requires 30 credit hours of coursework and must be supported by the successful completion of a project and a report of substantial engineering content for a minimum of 3 credits. A non-thesis all coursework option is also available.
