A Faster Path to Your Master’s
The Biomedical Engineering Accelerated Degree Pathway allows students to earn both a bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering in five years instead of the typical six.
Enrolled students may count up to nine credit hours of graduate coursework toward their undergraduate degree.
Requirements
This program is open to FIU students who are pursuing one of the following undergraduate programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
To apply for the accelerated degree pathway, students must have at least 75 credits, a GPA of 3.25 or higher in both overall and upper division courses and three letters of recommendation from faculty at the College of Engineering & Computing.
