Biography
Karem is an FIU alumna who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During her time as a student, she actively contributed to the university community by lending her skills to the Talent and Career Development Office where she assisted with organizing workshops and career fairs, helping her peers navigate their professional journeys. Before working at the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences, she worked at Miami Dade College where she served as a specialist in the Financial Aid Office providing vital support to students seeking financial assistance to pursue their education. Karem is driven by the desire to contribute to the growth and development of students in their academic pursuits. Karem has also obtained a certification as a Coach Practitioner by UCF Higher Education Coaching Academy.
