Research

College of Engineering and Computing is a breeding ground for cross-disciplinary, cutting-edge research in electrical engineering, computer science, data science, materials science, mechanical engineering, civil & environmental engineering and bioengineering.

We are focusing on our strengths in cybersecurity, big data, infrastructure and resilience, artificial intelligence, biomedical technologies, robotics, sensors and sensing, internet of things, wireless communications, automotive and aerospace engineering, and 3D manufacturing, and pursuing multidisciplinary research, leading to cutting-edge discoveries, significant growth in patent generation and entrepreneurial activities.
