There are many types of students and just as many ways to learn. We offer fully online courses and degree programs, online video-based courses, and hybrid (part online/part classroom) courses to meet your needs. Whether you are new to FIU, a current student looking to finish a degree, starting a graduate program or joining us from across the country, many of the same courses that are offered on campus can also be taken online.

ONLINE AND DISTANCE LEARNING

Online courses and programs are offered through FIU FEEDS, a college-wide distance learning program within the College of Engineering and Computing.

FIU FEEDS offers select undergraduate and graduate courses, with lectures that can be conveniently accessed online anywhere, anytime.  Courses are taught by the college’s renowned faculty and are made available through a fully supported online learning management system. Students taking FIU FEEDS courses receive the same credit, instruction, and learning material as face-to-face students, via on-demand streaming video format. Learn more about FIU FEEDS Courses and Programs or check out our Cost Benefit Analysis to see how FIU FEEDS can save you money. You can also try out a sample FIU FEEDS video lecture to see what it’s all about. Any online courses not offered through FIU FEEDS may be available through FIU Online.
