Daniel Sanchez is a 38-year-old husband and father of 2 little girls, who all live in Davie, FL. Daniel graduated with a M.S Degree in Computer Engineering in May 2007 from Florida International University where he also received his BS in Computer Engineering in May 2005 – both as Suma Cum Laude. Daniel has worked at Motorola Solutions for 15 years where he is currently the FL Vice President for State & Local Government division. He started at Motorola as an intern during the summer of 2004, and then evolved across various roles from Software Engineering, to Product Management, to Marketing, to Business Development, and ultimately, to Sales. Today, he leads a team of public safety technology consultants responsible for a combined annual business of over $200M across the State of FL. Daniel gives back to his Alma Mater by participating in the FIU College of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Committee. Daniel is also an active board member of the American Red Cross South FL Chapter where he gives back to the community that raised him. He also contributes on various public safety-related and charitable organizations such as the FBINAA Charitable Foundation, the FL Fire Chief’s Association Foundation, the FL Police Chief’s Public Private Partnership, and the Miami Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police.
