Cesar Villa-Garcia is currently a Product Manager at Microsoft, launching technical features for the Azure IoT platform and making it more accessible for users around the world. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in New York City, developing solutions for their asset and wealth management business. He graduated from FIU in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, and was recognized as a Worlds Ahead graduate for his academic and extracurricular achievements. During his time at FIU, Cesar also started the current iteration of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), FIU’s largest technology organization for students. Through his work as President, he created a community that now serves over 3,500 students, running programs that empower them to develop their technical knowledge and skills. UPE has helped hundreds of students get job opportunities and brought large corporations to recruit tech talent, including Microsoft, Google, JPMorgan, and more. As an alum, he now gives his time back as a Board Member of the UPE Alumni Association, the College of Engineering & Computing Young Alumni, and FIU’s Young Alumni Network.
