Congratulations to FIU students Briana Gonzalez and Gianfranco Perez-Greco for receiving two awards at the 2020 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM in Washington, DC!

Briana received the first place award in the undergraduate poster presentation category and Gianfranco received the second place award in the oral graduate oral presentation category.

In total, 2 graduate students (Gian Carrara and Gianfranco Perez-Greco) and 5 undergraduate students (Adrian Astros, Ernesto Enriquez, Briana Gonzalez, Edwin Najera, and Ricardo Sendrea) from FIU’s Transforming Antennas Center (TAC) presented their research at the 2020 ERN Conference in STEM. This research was supported by an NSF EFRI-REM grant and TAC’s AFOSR grants. TAC is a research center that focuses on foldable reconfigurable antennas and it is directed by Prof. Stavros Georgakopoulos.
