Richard Chance is an entrepreneur and educator with over 25 years of business and leadership experience. He is the founder of Incite Innovation Labs (i2 Labs), a co-working space for technology companies, and he is CEO of i2 Labs Academy, which provides a 20-week Cybersecurity boot camp where students learn in a live Security Operations Center.

He is also the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of Lynx Companies, a conglomerate of companies operating in real estate holdings and development, education, healthcare, technology and financial sectors. He describes his primary role as “a builder of ecosystems that allow for the growth of a very complex dynamic organization.”

Chance has roots in higher education as a former faculty member and academic chair of Information Management at Palm Beach State College. He was CIO of Miami Dade College’s Kendall and West campuses and department chair of Miami Dade’s InterAmerican campus for business, technology, engineering and architecture. He is a proud FIU alumnus obtaining both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Management Information Systems.
