In April, FIU alumni had their first Lockheed Martin/FIU alumni event in Orlando, Florida. They had over 30 FIU alumni in attendance and currently there is more than 50 FIU alumni working at the Lockheed Martin Orlando site. There were FIU alumni in attendance who had graduated in the 1990’s and some that graduated as recent as last semester. A huge shout out to Julie Vallejos and the FIU foundation for providing them with FIU freebies for the event. They plan on having more of these events throughout the year.
