Dr. S.S. Iyengar has been inducted as a College of Fellows in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). For outstanding contributions to development of distributed computational algorithms with applications in biomedical sciences and engineering and education of computer scientists. He is the third Fellow in the College of Engineering and Computing, the others being Dr. Anthony McGoron and Dr. Ranu Jung from the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
