Gene Yllanes is an undergraduate student studying electrical engineering in the College of Engineering and Computing. His interest in electronics propelled him toward a degree in electrical engineering and it was in the College of Engineering and Computing where he received a position at the Applied Research Center (ARC) as a Department of Energy (DOE) fellow. Gene recently went to Washington, D.C. to present research to the head of the DOE.
