FIU CEC Associate Director of the Office of Student Access and Success Stephanie Strange was invited to do a tandem jump with the US Army Golden Knights professional parachute team. The jump was scheduled for Monday February 28, 2011, but due to high winds it was postponed until Tuesday March 1, 2011. FIU ROTC recruiter Wally Gallart escorted Stephanie along with three Deans from the FIU College of Nursing and Health Sciences to the Homestead Air reserve Base for an experience they will never forget.
