| With
this accelerated program, students may
obtain a Bachelor of Science degree
in Computer Science combined with a Master
of Science degree in Computer Science.
This combined degree program provides academically
talented students an opportunity to complete
a bachelor’s and a master’s degree
in a shorter period of time. The BS/MS degree
allows you to 'double-count' graduate courses
toward both degrees, thus reducing the time
it would normally take to graduate by a semester
or more. The combined-degree program reduces
the cost of both degrees and allows you to
participate in research and take courses
not usually available to undergraduates. |

| The
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science offers
two tracks at the upper division level: the
Computer Science track, and the Software Design
and Development track. The baccalaureate program
is accredited by the Computing Accreditation
Commission (CAC) of ABET. |
| |
| The Master
of Science (MS) in Computer Science degree provides study in state-of-the-art applications
in any of eight different areas of specialization.
The program blends theory and practice into a learning
experience that develops real-world skills applicable
to complex problems. It is available in both a
Thesis and a Non-Thesis option. |

Admission Requirements
Students who have completed a minimum of 60 hours
towards their BS degree in Computer Science
and have earned at least a 3.3 GPA on both
overall and upper division courses may, upon
recommendation from three faculty members,
apply for admission in the combined BS/MS program.
